Key Features Of BW WA3 PRO
BlitzWolf is a sub-brand of Banggood. In our experience, Banggood being one of the longest-established export shops with a large range of products, they iterate on some of the products that work well and lead in sales, and this pro version of the Bluetooth speaker launch is one example.
Apart from performance and battery size, the two versions of the speaker seem to be very similar and the main differences between them will be listed below along with the main features obtained based on testing of the pro version.

Styling & Design Process Of BW WA3 PRO
Firstly, from a physical point of view, the BlitzWolf BW-WA3 Pro can be called a behemoth.
Personally, I wouldn’t consider such a large size (275 x 100 x 110mm as previously listed) a good thing for carrying it on the party circuit, and the shoulder strap in the package doesn’t make things any easier, although it’s still much smaller than the Anker Soundcore Motion Boom Plus, it’s probably the smallest size you can get without sacrificing too much in terms of sound quality.
Also, the weight of over 2.6kg is a complete disaster, weighing 0.3kg more than the comparable Soundcore, which makes me not want to carry it on hikes or walks at all.
From a visual design point of view, I think the whole Bluetooth speaker is extraordinary. The whole follows the usual BlitzWolf style, relying on a subtle grey and black fusion of tones.
The most striking feature is the colored LEDs on the speakers on both sides, which alternately light up in green, red, blue, yellow, turquoise, and purple in standby mode. When playing music, the lights play in time with the music and the glowing effect is a quiet pulsation with a pleasantly calming effect, which is really nice.
Unfortunately, I would have liked to be able to set the lighting to one color or to glow continuously, but I couldn’t find this feature.
The overall quality of workmanship is good. Although I couldn’t find a shock absorber-type configuration in the BlitzWolf BW-WA3 Pro’s base information, I couldn’t find any gaps in its surface and it didn’t produce squeaks under unconventional and violent pressure – this big guy is not fragile.
It’s great that BlitzWolf has also integrated splash and spray water protection in accordance with IPX5 standards. This means that small showers can’t threaten the speaker, but it’s best not to take it into the pool, which is where the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus with its higher standard of water resistance is superior, but the BlitzWolf design is still good enough isn’t it?
On the front, there is a small cover that can be lifted to reveal a USB-A, a USB-C, and an Aux port, where local media can also be played using a MicroSD. The design is very compact and unobtrusive.
Tone Quality
In terms of basic specifications, the two woofers to the left and right of the BlitzWolf BW-WA3 Pro and the two tweeters at the front are responsible for sound production and can achieve a power output of up to 120 watts.
This means that when you turn the speakers up, they can easily produce enough volume to get everyone up and dancing at a small gathering or even an outdoor party. But let’s put aside the advantages of the loud sound for a moment – what about its quality?
BlitzWolf BW-WA3 Pro’s performance at low volumes is disappointing. Although the product description indicates that the speaker operates in the frequency range of 20Hz to 16,000Hz, when you turn the volume down the whole Bluetooth box produces an unmistakable background noise, which I would describe as a high-frequency beeping sound, which gives me an uneasy atmosphere.
This doesn’t match BlitzWolf’s claim that I don’t think it works at the lowest volumes, and even at mid-range frequencies, its performance seems to be occasionally lost. This means you can’t use it in a quiet room, which of course isn’t what BlitzWolf designed it for in the first place, and I’ve over-emphasized the low-point performance a bit.
If you just want to listen to music without complexity, you’ll get along fine with the sound. Using higher volumes the speaker actually sounds surprisingly good, especially if you are deep in conversation or surrounded by party noise, and you can also enjoy one or another demanding song, in this respect the speaker also serves its purpose, you don’t have to expect more, it is only suitable for orchestral or instrumental music to a very limited extent.
Finally, let’s talk briefly about integrated equalizers. You can cycle through them by pressing the EQ button, the status of which is indicated by the LED above the button.
If the button lights up green, for example, you have activated the vocal mode, but in this mode, all the depth in the soundstage is lost; if the button lights up blue, you have activated the 3D mode, and all the treble points are lost.
So I don’t think either of these modes can be used, it makes an already uncomplicated sound even more monotonous.
Battery Capacity
That’s pretty much the brightest thing about this BlitzWolf Bluetooth speaker, with a whopping 16,000mAh capacity you have a compact mobile power source.
In the description, that capacity should be enough to play up to 15 hours of music, and when we tested it with the volume turned up to 30%, we were indeed able to get the specified 15 hours of battery life.
I think it should last between 6 and 8 hours when you use it at high volume levels, which is a surprising value that will continue to ignite your party atmosphere.
The other thing that makes you care is the charging time, which according to our tests takes 6.5 hours to fully charge, half an hour more than BlitzWolf claims, but this is perfectly acceptable.
In the end, I think it integrates a pretty good feature, when you’re out and about you’ll inevitably run into the dilemma of running your phone battery low, the BlitzWolf’s USB-C port allows anyone to connect their smartphone to the speaker and gives it a charge of up to 15 watts, most smartphones tend to use 10 to 12 watts, not exactly a fast charge but it’s still a nice feature, isn’t it?
Operating Instructions
The BlitzWolf BW-WA3 Pro relies on seven large, rubber-coated buttons on the top for its operation. The large size makes it possible to press the operation in the dark, and the buttons are designed with very pleasant pressure points.
Pairing with smart devices is also simple, with the power button held down to turn the speaker on you can pair it directly from the Bluetooth menu of your smartphone or laptop, the speaker is used to establish a connection via Bluetooth 5.0 and to play music using the SBC codec conversion.
In our tests, a stable connection was maintained outdoors at a distance of 15 meters, which is in line with the standards of this price point.
This a reminder that the plus and minus signs have dual functions, a short press to raise or lower the volume and a long press to advance or rewind the song, and our tests showed that these functions were accurate; there is also the aforementioned EQ button to switch between the three different equalizers
Even though I don’t think this function is very useful, you can still feel it for yourself; finally, there is the TWS button, which can be used to pair a second BlitzWolf BW-WA3 Pro to use these boxes in 3D mode, unfortunately, I couldn’t try this feature as I didn’t buy a second one.
Review Summary
If you’re looking for a great value-for-money Bluetooth speaker for your party-holding needs, the BlitzWolf BW-WA3 Pro would be a perfect choice. You’ll get powerful and long-lasting sound for very little money, and that’s what it’s good for, lots of battery, lots of volume and it has a cool look that’s great for parties.
However, it has to be mentioned that in terms of sound quality, it seems rough. Low-volume playback in quiet environments is accompanied by background noise, and with very little subtlety in tone at all frequencies, there’s no way you can ask for sophisticated, high-quality sound at this price point of the option.
If you really want more in terms of sound quality, you should pay a higher price for Anker’s Soundcore Motion Boom Plus.
